To a customer deciding whether to trust you, both look the same — dated, generic, and slow enough on a phone that they go back and tap the next result.

So I start from your business rather than a theme. The words are yours, the photographs are yours, and the order things appear in is decided by what a customer needs to see before they feel ready to get in touch. You see it before you pay anything: answer a few questions and a real sample design lands within 48 hours. If it isn’t right, that’s the end of it.

Questions people ask before they get in touch
How much does a website cost in the UK?
Builds by Leo quotes each website individually, and we agree the plan together: once you have seen your free sample, we work out what the site needs to do and a price point that works for you. What moves the price is how many pages you need, how much there is to write, and whether you want extra tools such as online booking, an instant estimate or a quote calculator. Those tools are priced as extras, and the quote shows the price with them and without them, so you choose what is worth it.
What is included in the price of a website?
The design, the build and the written content, your domain registered in your name, and the first 12 months of hosting with the security certificate. Small changes are free for the first year: email me a new price or a new photograph and it goes on. After the first 12 months, hosting is a yearly fee.
Do you require a deposit?
Not for the sample, which is free. If you go ahead with the full website, half is paid as a deposit to start the build and the other half when the site goes live.
How long does it take to build a website?
About two weeks once you go ahead. The main thing that decides it is how quickly your information and content come back to me: service details, prices, photographs. The free sample comes before any of that, within 48 hours of you sending the brief.
What do you need from me to build my website?
The details only you know: the services you offer, any prices you want shown, the areas you cover, your contact details and your logo if you have one. The brief you fill in for the sample covers most of it, and I ask for anything missing when the build starts.
Do I need professional photographs?
No. If you do not have photographs yet, I can create AI-generated images for your site and turn them into short AI videos. Your own photographs can replace them whenever you have some.
Can I request changes before the website goes live?
Yes, as many as it takes. I keep making changes until you are happy with the site, and it does not go live before then.
Will I own my website and domain name?
Yes, both. The domain is registered in your name, and if you ever want to move to another developer I hand over the website files and the domain. Nothing is held back.
Does website design include SEO?
The technical SEO is part of every build: page titles and descriptions, a clear heading structure, fast pages, structured data and a sitemap, so Google can read the site properly. Ongoing work after launch, such as local SEO, is a separate service I offer. Nobody can honestly guarantee a ranking.
Will you help with my Google Business Profile?
Yes. I advise on getting your profile and your website to describe the same business, with the same name, number and services, and if you do not have a profile yet I can set one up for you. For local searches the profile carries a lot of weight.
Will my website be fast, secure and accessible?
Yes. Sites are built without heavy templates and the images are compressed, so pages load quickly on a phone signal. Every site runs over an encrypted connection with a security certificate, and it is built to work with a keyboard and a screen reader.
Can you redesign my existing website?
Yes, and it is often quicker, because your existing content gives me something to work from and I can see what is currently costing you enquiries. Your current site stays online while the new one is built.
